A Bit About Me
Dimitra Ladika is a Ph.D. candidate at the Materials Science and Technology Department of the University of Crete, Greece. She received her MSc in “Photonics and Nanoelectronics” in 2018 from the Department of Physics, University of Crete, and her BSc in Physics in 2016 from the Physics Department of the University of Patras, Greece. She joined the research group of Dr. Maria Farsari at FORTH/IESL in 2017, where she completed her MSc thesis. In 2019, she started her Ph.D. in the group of Dr. Maria Farsari. In her Ph.D., her research is focused on the fabrication of nanophotonic devices, using Multiphoton Polymerization, as well as on the development of optical setups for the nonlinear characterization of novel photosensitive materials. She was awarded an IKY scholarship from Greece and the European Union in 2022.
