A Bit About Me
I am currently a PhD candidate at the Materials Science and Technology Department of the University of Crete under the supervision of Professor Emmanouil Glynos and Dr. Maria Farsari. I received my Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from the same department. During my master studies, I worked under the supervision of Professor S.Tzortzakis ,(in UNIS lab)where I also completed my master thesis .My PhD project will be focused on the mechanical properties like fracture toughness, fracture propagation, strength, stiffness, and plastic evolution of bioinspired 3D materials. They will be fabricated with Multiphoton Lithography (MPL) and will be systematically studied using nanoindentation measurements and atomic force microscopy (AFM).
