A Bit About Me
Dr. Konstantina Terzaki is a Post Doctoral fellow at FORTH/IESL. She received her bachelor’s Degree in Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Ioannina (2006), and her Master’s Degree at the Department of Engineering, at the University of Liverpool (2007). The main research of her PhD, in Materials Science and Technology at the University of Crete (2013), as well as her early postdoctoral research, in collaboration with the Tissue Engineering–Regenerative Medicine and Immuno-engineering Lab (TERMIM Lab, IESL–FORTH), was the design and fabrication of biosensors and novel biomaterials for tissue regeneration and slow-release drug-delivery systems. Currently, her research is focused on the design, fabrication, and mechanical behavior of bioinspired hierarchical materials.
